primary aluminium’s global demand is expected to rise by 7% in the year 2014 as a result of the huge growth in china, said an alcoa senior executive. timothy reyes, alcoa material management’s president, said in a conference the company was expecting the demand for chinese primary aluminium to rise by 10% in 2014, based on 7.5% economic growth target in china.
